Blending cinematic soundscapes with raw, heartfelt lyricism, “The Ships”navigates themes of departure, longing, transformation, and the tides that carry us from one chapter of life to the next. The album takes listeners on a journey both intimate and expansive, drawing influence from folk, tribal reggae, hip-hop, rock, and layered ambient textures.

“The Ships” is about the vessels we build—both literal and metaphorical—to carry us through change,” says Brad Byrge ..AKA Bold Bird .. “Some ships take us toward the unknown, some take us home, and some drift away without us.
